1. Introduction

Welcome to Helios Electrical Group. By using our website, requesting a quote, booking a job, or engaging our services, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.
These Terms apply to all electrical services, installations, maintenance, solar, battery and related work performed by Helios Electrical Group.

If you accept a solar or battery proposal through Pylon, the Pylon/NETCC Contract Terms apply in addition to these website terms and override any conflicting clauses.



2. General Electrical Work

The following terms apply to all non-solar, non-battery electrical work including: switchboard upgrades, rewiring, fault-finding, GPOs, lighting, fans, data cabling, CCTV, EV chargers (non-STC), domestic/commercial maintenance and general electrical services.

2.1 Quotes & Approval

  • Quotes are valid for 30 days unless stated otherwise.
  • A quote becomes binding once accepted by the client (verbally, in writing, deposit paid, or by instructing us to proceed).
  • Variations due to hidden issues, access restrictions, unsafe conditions, additional work, or client changes will be invoiced separately.

2.2 Payment Terms

  • Payment is due by the date stated on the invoice.
  • Late payments incur 3% monthly interest, calculated daily, plus reasonable recovery/legal costs.
  • Work may be paused or withheld if payment is overdue.

2.3 Ownership of Materials

  • All goods remain the property of Helios Electrical Group until full payment is received. We may recover unpaid goods as permitted by law.

2.4 Access & Safety

  • Clients must provide safe access to the work area. Additional charges may apply if access is obstructed or unsafe. Work will not proceed in unsafe environments.

2.5 Warranties

  • 5-year workmanship warranty applies to electrical installations.
  • Manufacturer warranties apply to supplied products.
  • Warranties do not cover misuse, weather damage, pests, external factors, or third-party alterations.

2.6 Liability

Helios Electrical Group is not liable for:

  • loss of income, production, or consequential damages
  • delays caused by suppliers, SAPN, wholesalers, or other third parties
  • pre-existing faults or non-compliant work not performed by us
  • Total liability is limited to the value of the works performed.

2.7 Cancellations

If a client cancels after accepting a quote:

    • costs for materials ordered and labour performed will be invoiced
    • cancellation fees may apply

3. Solar & Battery (STC-Eligible)

All solar and battery STC-eligible installations are governed by:
Pylon Proposal Contract Terms, including NETCC requirements, consumer protections, warranties, STC assignment, grid approvals, milestone payments, variations, safety, and cancellation rights.

3.1 Payment Terms (Solar/Battery Only)

Payment terms for solar and battery installations are as stated in the Pylon proposal under the Special Conditions section. These Special Conditions override the default Pylon payment clause.

3.2 STCs & Incentives

By accepting a solar/battery quote, the client agrees to assign STCs to Helios Electrical Group and comply with all STC eligibility requirements.

3.3 Compliance

All work is completed in accordance with:

    • AS/NZS 3000
    • CEC guidelines
    • NETCC obligations
    • SA Power Networks requirements
    • Relevant Australian electrical regulations


4. Website Use

This website provides general information only. While we aim for accuracy, Helios Electrical Group does not guarantee completeness, nor accept liability for reliance on website content.


5. Privacy

Helios Electrical Group complies with Australian privacy laws.
We collect client information only for quoting, booking, invoicing, installation, warranty, compliance, and communication purposes.
We do not sell or share personal information except where legally required or necessary to perform services (e.g., SAPN, retailers, warranty claims).


6. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, Helios Electrical Group is not liable for:

    • indirect or consequential loss
    • delays outside our control (weather, availability, supply chain, SAPN/retailer processes)
    • client-supplied equipment or non-disclosed hazards
    • Consumer guarantees under Australian Consumer Law continue to apply.


7. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of South Australia. Any disputes will be heard under SA jurisdiction.


8. Changes to Terms

Helios Electrical Group may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of our website or services constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
